They told me they were from Brothers and Sisters. Big Brothers and Sisters is totally different and I never heard of them calling to ask for donations as this person did. Plus Big Brothers and Sisters is located in our city, not from Mass. I think they are looking for donations alright, but not clothing and household items.
big brothers & big sisters are in springfield ma. as well and yes they do call looking for donations i have donated to them in the past through there phone call, they call and ask for donations of clothes and other house hold items you no longer need and if you say yes they will schedrule a pick up with you.
Why would legitimate outfits like Bog Brothers and Big Sisters use unlisted numbers. Seems to me, if it were really one of those organizations calling, they'd be delighted if you returned their call.
