Caller ID said "Mass Mutual". Message said they were trying to track an heir with my last name. Sounds like a phishing scam to me. They are now blocked.
This number is legit, and is from Mass Mutual Life Insurance. They are processing the claim from my deceased fathers policy, and their service has been excellent. They're a solid company and not involved with sleazy marketing scams. I wouldn't recommend blocking this number, you might be the beneficiary of someone's life insurance policy.
