Called asking for a coworker. I am required to screen all calls as we do not have transferrable lines. He became upset, first telling me he was from logic company, for insurance. Then he was from Microsoft. I asked him for his name he gave me Salman Kahn. I looked him up on our list and did not locate him, then he became mad saying that I am just an operator and began asking questions about SOMETHING, I couldn't even understand with the accent. Then said Microsoft has 10,000+ employees, i couldn't see all of them and said Now give him the phone or transfer me. I apologized that I could not and that all calls require screening and pre approval, that he would be required to provide contact information and I would pass it on to my coworker. He then started insulting me and my position and telling me about how small our company is. I informed him that the phone number he called from was provided to my coworker by email, along with his name. He said, thats not my number and was getting more mad. I apologized and repeated my procedure. He then hung up. :) I worked for 4 years in Psychiatry so this guy had no chance in getting to me. Just needed to make sure I was confirming my assumption of this being a spam call.
Guys has called every single day for 2 weeks. Demands to be transferred to a co workers and asks for him by name and gives ext number. I play the game and ask who is calling, from where, and for what. He gives me is name and some company name that even after 20+ calls i can still not understand- something global something technologic??? I don't know. The guys straight up lies and says he has spoken to my co worker previously and that he has had some meeting scheduled "that he has to reschedule" Caller has NEVER spoken to the person he is calling for, has NEVER left a voice mail, and most definitely does NOT have an appointment scheduled with him.
I put him on Hold until he hangs up. Others who answer put him directly into the person he is asking for's voice mail.
I actually lok forward to the call every day because i am curious for how long he will continue to try and sell his Scam

Guy called asking for our HR Manager to invite them to an event that Dell & Google were putting on to better inform our company on Chrome applications. In our company our IT department would handle these things and told the guy on the phone that our HR Manager is not the one who would handle it. I told him that the IT department would be better suited and he kept stating that he must speak with our HR Manager (he asked for her by name) and that she is specifically the one who is invited and no one else. Then he kept appologizing and then hung up on me.
I got this call and asked for a client - put him through to VM. after that, all of 6lines at reception would just automatically dial this number as soon as I pick up receiver. And when another caller comes through my other line, It will not let me pick up the call.
