I just got the exact same text in response to a craigslist ad. I looked up the number and saw it was from out of state so didn't go any farther than the first text. My ad was for a very large and heavy common furniture item so looks like this person just goes through and text anybody that will answer. Be careful people, so many trying to scam. I should have looked the number up before even answering. I did not lose any money but still scary to know I came close and you cant even post a simple ad without some creep trying to trick you. I am writing this post in the hopes that other people will look up this number and not be scammed by this person. Craigslist has good tips to avoid scams, one of them is to only deal with local people.
