I had an item listed for sale on Craigs List. I was sent an e-mail with the subject line "interested call 976 4473". The sender's address shows up as [email protected]. Here is the text of the e-mail:

Hi, saw some stuff was beyond interested in, please contact me this weekend. I seldomly check email. Call : 9 7 6 - 4 4 7 3

Yes, this looked very suspicious, but I called the number. It was a recording with some sort of "daily prayer". When my phone bill came in a couple weeks later, I had a $24.95 charge for a two-minute "Premium Priced Call".
