Fleetwater Group buys bad debt, paid off debt even debt it makes up. I really don't like they have the last four digits of my personal SS#. But such is the case doing business here in America. Beware of Fleetwater Group which calls using 800 phone numbers not mention in my comment.
414-203-0912 Started my day with a call from a creep that told me he would call me anytime he wanted after I told him I could not help him and to stop calling me. I called them several time to insure they took my name off of their records. This has been going on for years with other collections agency looking for someone. Is there a way to stop the harassment once and for all?
Fleetwater group is trying to find a relative of mine and will not say what type of firm they are calling from. The caller became very nasty after i refused to provide any information. Likely a phishing scam. The agent calling could not possibly keep a job at a legitimate company while using such a nasty tone with their customers or potential clients.
This is the typical MO of skip tracers for a collection agency. If it is indeed debt collection, they are not permitted to disclose any information that would identify the call as related to the collection of a debt per the fair Debt Collection Practices Act nor can they disclose any personal information other than the name of the individual. They can provide their name, the name of the company and a call back number.
