Got a recorded call from this number half-hour ago... said they would lower my credit card interest rates. When I talked to someone live, he sounded like he was calling from overseas, wouldn't identify himself except to say he was calling from "card services." He promised me interest rates below 6% on all my credit cards, so I played along. He then began asking for expiration dates and credit card numbers, saying he already had the info in front of him and this would verify that I'm the account holder.
When I expressed concerns that this sounded like a scam, he said all the banks and credit card companies contract with his company to lower interest rates. He began sounding more flustered as I asked more questions. I finally told him NEVER to call here again and hung up.
Afterwards, I contacted my credit card companies and they all said this was A SCAM.

Received a recorded message about a 'legal matter regarding documentation had been mailed to my address to which I had not responded'. Threatened this is the last opportunity before legal action is taken. This is similar to many calls I have received. Definitely a scam.
