It does not do any good to complain in text, here ... people need to get a back~bone & file complaints with the BBB ... here's the link:
http://www.bbb.org/ Just type in "their zipcode", click on "File a Compliant" (on the right) & fill in the blanks. If, you can type a message here, you file a complaint! Besides... filing a compliant provides someone with a job.... you're helping someone feed their family!
Got bill in the mail for subscription to Birds & Blooms. I never signed up for it or heard of it. Still don't know or think it's a legit magazine. Called them & after being on hold for almost 20 mins. I got to a Rep. & they said they would cancel it. Still don't know how they got my info. Kind of scary.
Today I received the magazine with a bill enclosed. There was no number to call to even dispute it. Just an invoice and they had all my information, it is very creepy that these people operate in this way. I looked them up and the parent company. They appear to be a legitimate company so I don't understand why they are pulling these below the belt tactics. I plan on reporting this to the better business bureau and see what happens.
Same here, have received several invoices for "Taste of Home" magazine we never signed up for... Billing address says Reiman Publications out of Harlan, Iowa....
