I got a call from Jerrod Newman of Goldberg Maxwell. It's not a scam, they're legit. I took out payday loans a few years back & wasn't able to pay them back right away, they're the firm retained by the payday loan comps to go after the checks i issued to cover the balance. He's very helpfull & I'm glad this is off my credit!!!
@Jake, I'm positive. I remember taking the loans out & everything. I just never paid them back. & they're a legit firm, they provided me w/original account #'s as well as dates & everything. I wouldn't have paid if I wasn't 1000% sure this was real. There are lots of scammers out there. They're not 1 of them.
Hey, thanks for letting us know this site is making it tough for you to trick victims out of money on the phone. We already knew, but it's great to hear it from one of you crooks yourself.

If they contact you, file a complaint to your attorney generals office, they will stop calling, and drop the supposed claim against you, thats what I did and I am in the process of taking them to court for using Illegal tactics too try to collect money as well as Harrassment
