He stated that he is an attroney and wanted to get a hold with my friend immediately about the legal case. He wanted me to give him my friend cell or work number. I feel uncomfortable so, I told him that I will forward his message to my friend instead. He left call back number @ 877-271-8406
I spoke with a woman named Donna with a really thick accent. She asked for my husband, and didn't say what the call was regarding except that she was with CRA and that he needed to call back to speak with a representative at the Christopher Adams Office. Very weird. She said that it was imperative that he give them a call back as soon as possible. Seems like a scam because the phone number that popped up on my phone is 414-433-1630, which is listed on here as a bogus phone number, and she left me with the phone number 877 215 7439 to call back on. The other number was also reported as a bogus number on this site.
Received a telephone call today from 414-433-1630 the person identified themselves as Mathew Ward, extention 3003. The original call came on the 864-674-8002 number. Stating he was reviewing 1099 fraud. I ask the name of his company and he stated ti was CRA. I asked him what the company name was and what the call was referring to. He stated he would have to look on the outside of the building for the name. I then Today is February 2, 2011 the telephone call was received at 10:00AM. I asked his location, address and supervisors name. He stated he was the supervisor. He said he was going to note my records as uncooperative. I advised him I would be contacting my attorney, who would return his call.
I tried calling back 414-433-1630 recording the number was not in service. (That sounded bogus.)
Called the 864-674-8002 number and was put on hold. Christie came back on the line asked who I was I stated my name, she said are the last 4 digits of your SSN. I stated yes and asked where her office was located- she stated we have many locations. I asked what type of company CRA was and she told me I was rude and said "since you are not cooperating we are noting are files this way."
