They called here today, and asked for the decision maker. I said they were talking to her and the guy replied "No I am not" to which I replied "You must not want to do business then" and he said "Not with you". Very rude. Tripoli is a great organization if only their employees cared enough to be professional.
Wondering whether all the posts before yours were made by the guy you talked to or one of his "professional" associates? Real professional, shilling on this site before running their phone "campaign".
Either it's a total scam, or some call center tricked the Shriners into a deal where the call center gets most of the money -- in these deals, the call centers usually keep ALL of the initial donations, then they give a SMALL percentage after that to the real charity.
They called my home and cell phone several times. Never left so much as a message on either. The one time my daughter picked up and told them that her mom was not available they told her that was o.k. because they wanted to speak with her dad as men make the decisions in the family. She hung up on the man before he could make a further fool of himself.
