414-446-3340 has called my cell phone multiple times and they never leave a message. I never answer since I don't recognize the number. Finally I got sick of the calls and called the number back and a person answered "Affiliated Credit Services". I didn't talk to them, just hung up. According to some sites on the internet this is a debt collector. It just seems odd that they never leave a message. I would think that if they were a legitimate company they would leave some kind of message asking you to call them back. I keep myself on a strict budget and I know that I don't owe anyone money so there is no reason for a debt collector to be calling me. I did some searching on Google and here is what I found: Some people did report that Affiliated Credit Services was calling them about people they had never heard of and putting incorrect data on credit reports, etc. Several reports say that this company is a scam and you should not give them any credit card information. One person reported after giving them a credit card number there were unknown changes from the collector on their credit card statement that traced back to adult sex internet sites. No website came up specifically for Affiliated Credit Services but I did find this website listed on business week - www.acscollects.com but this is a dead website. It looks like Affiliated Credit Services was a Colorado business that has alerts with the Better Business Bureau and was shut down. My suspect they have now moved their scams to another state.
