A male caller calls our number speaking in spanish. He states we owe for an overdue electric bill. He tells us we can make payments over the phone, to take care of the overdue bill. RIGHT! 1.) We have NEVER been overdue on ANY bill. 2.) When we became suspicious of the caller and the reason he called, he became rude. He would not tell us what company he works for. THIS MUST BE A SCAM!!!! BE VERY CAREFUL!!! You should never give your financial information to someone who calls you! Could it be possible with all the burglaries occurring around the state, that they may just be calling to see if someone is home?
Caller claimed we owed in our electric bill, and that we could take care of it over the phone right away with 2 payments. Were unable to give me information such as balance, etc At that point they caller turned nasty making threats to my family. Then they terminated the call. I called the local police but they will do nothing per the officer.

Today someone call from this number to my aunt asking $300.00 for change her electric meter because is an danger of cause fire, I call to the electric company to verify if this is current and they tell me not to give any money to this person because is a fraud, so be carefull of this people.
