Called and said I owed and debt for a medical bill. I calmly told them that I will settle up with the hospital, as I do not owe their agency anything. He got frustrated and told me that the debt was turned over to him, I now owe him. I again told him I owe the hospital, and would pay the hospital, not him. Now he was really mad, and said that the hospital would not accept my payment, I then told him that will be my lucky day, wont have to pay. He threatened to send the sheriff to serve me papers, I said ok and hung up. That was 5 months ago, still waiting for the cops, lol. They still call daily, we do not answer.
