Story is exactly identical to mine! Called my phone, I pressed one and some lady that I couldn't even understand answered wanting to know information about the car. I told her that I did not have a car under warranty. She said something about my phone number and hung up. I tried to call the number back and there were fax tones.
Calls from 818-870-9127 and severel other numbers for the "warranty" for my car.. To bad I sold my car 2 years ago. Pressed 1 spoke to someone said to remove me and they hung up instantly.. also tried to press 2 and they still call from several different numbers.. up to 3 maybe 4 times a day..this is all on my cell phone.
if u listen to the whole msg, press one and blast the live service person out!!! also you can register at the donotcall list go to google and type it in...it is a gov page
Listened to the stupid warranty recording and waited until it told me to press one to speak to someone. I pressed 1 and was on hold for a little while. The person came on, I could barely understand them, they mumbled about the warranty and then asked if they could know who they were speaking to. I said "uh NO, take me off of this list." He repeated my phone number and said he would put it on their do not call list. I doubt that these calls will stop, they're really pissing me off. I don't have a car under my name, and these calls happen on my cell phone.
DO NOT give out your information! Just get ahold of the caller and yell at them.
