This was a call from some cranky sounding woman with one of the most irritating voices I've ever heard saying very loudly that if I press one I would have been signing a petition against high speed rail in Wisconsin.
If the voice wasn't so irritating I might have even considered doing it. But how can a person honestly sign a petition when asked by someone that absolutely sounds like a crack-pot? If these inititive types want support, they need to sound like common sense human beings. This style of phone call certainly was not going to pursued anyone to go along with them. The crone that recorded this message needs to seek some mental health help and NOW!
Phone rang, I answered. Nothing on the other end. I called the number back, a recording said the phone number was no longer in service. 30 seconds later I received a call from the same number. Still "not in service" when I attempted to call back.
