This is a collection agency for aurora health care. "Mrs Smith" Just called me at job which is not legal. She asked if I had a moment to talk regarding a personal business matter and I said no because they called my place of employment and I was told that "she knew where she called" i asked what it was in regards to, i was told that "I just told it was a personal business matter and, you stated that you do not have time to discuss this" If this is a personal matter, then she should have been able to discuss this with me. very rude.
Same situation with this caller " Ms Lee." Called my cell # with no information to provide but wanted you to disclose personal information. Then called my job, which is not legal asking the same information. Is this what they doing now to collect a debt? Is this harassment?
Mine was 414-727-6609. She asked me if I was Andrea ***. I told her yes and wanted to know my last 2 munbers of my SSN. I told I wasn't going to provide it. She asked for my birthdate and I asked where she was from. I told her I would not give it if she wouldn't tell me where she was from. She said good day and hung up. I have that number.
Just an FYI - it is 100% legal for a collector to call your place of employment to contact you - UNLESS you specifically put a request in writing asking them not to contact you at that number anymore.
