Called at 2:49pm. Diverted by a service I subscribe to that intercepts robo-dialed calls (rhymes with SoNoHobo). The number is linked to the company named (HVP Auto in Milwaukee), but a call back (ID blocked) gives me a fake business-sounding announcement that does not identify the company.
I take this to be the second time in two days that I have received calls from spoofed numbers that actually are numbers for real small businesses. The fact that it's two makes me think it's like spam that uses the name — and maybe even the email account — of someone you know. It's still possible, as I wrote about some other number yesterday, that the number is spoofed using an actual number, but the likelihood of it being that two days in a row make this possibility MUCH less likely.
