i got the same call just like everyone else but he also had an agent that was gonna pick up the car to ship to him, something told me to google his number. i went a step further and gave him my email address and sure enuff i get emails saying paypal has gottin the funds and also the funds for the agent and that i was suppose to go to western union and send the agent 600 bucks and that i couldnt call paypal cause of the volume of calls..... BS thats the biggest clue right there..... i called paypal to report him and also posting here for others to beware.....ITS A SCAM now he wont text me back lol!
Yep, me too. I'm selling a boat, same deal wanting my paypal info. Scammer, funny though, I told him since he's an oceanographer it works out good as I'd drive the boat out to him so he can pay me.
I just got the same text message and had the common sense to google his number! Thanks for posting about this scammer. I hate to know how many people this person has taken advantage of. Very sad!
