Called me repeatedly over the last two weeks. Finally answered today, they claim they're calling for donations for our Veterans. I tell them I can't. Woman continues trying to obligate me into a donation, I continually turn her down. She eventually just hangs up on me in the middle of a sentence. This is either some ripoff organization, or one with the absolute worst vetting process for its rude representatives (I see someone above me was called an expletive). I can only hope they call me again.
I keep getting calls from this number. I am on the do not call list, so don't know ehy I'm getting these calls. The last call was answered by a person who sounded drunk and then he hung up.
Called two days ago. Said that she was with the Cancer Society collecting donations. That she did not need my credit card or any personal information. She said that she would send me a letter with an envelope to mail my donation and it did not needed to be mail immediately. She asked for small donations- $10 to $15...which is perfect because that way is not a federal offense. When I told her that I made my donations online she told that I could not do it that way in this case. I believe the call was for a scam of some sort having to do with identity theft. She wanted a check... Don't answer any calls from this number.
