Of course they wouldn't want you to report them, then they can keep violating the law. It would be helpful for all of us here to know the company name of this debt collector.
I've received 11 calls from this number over the past 2 months, mostly bunched together on consecutive days then takes a break for several weeks. I've historically gotten a lot of debt collection calls for someone that had my number 8+ years ago, so I don't answer unknown calls. Never leaves message.
This is a debt collection agency. I am a property manager and every time they call I answer and they hang up. They called twice in the past two days. This time I dialed *67 and their number (1-414-944-0221) and spoke with one of their debt collectors. I asked them to stop calling my number and they asked what the number was. I told them and they indicated they were looking to speak with a Kristine Johnson. I informed them that she was a former property manager at this address, but she left here long ago. They informed me they would take my number off their list. I told them that if they don't I would report them to the government. They asked that I do not do that.

Like wise I get calls from this number. I hadn't gotten any either for awhile and if I won't have happened to check my caller ID won't have known they had called and hung up.Needs to be some mega fines for these people or companies who are involved in this as they seem to have to found a way around being on the no call lists.
Repeated calls from this number. It usually rings once or twice and stops before I have a chance to answer, or occasionally leaves silent voicemails of ~1sec in length. I called back once I got fed up (months of the same call a couple times a week) and discovered it's a debt collector - Convergent Outsourcing - who wants me to pay for 3 months of Internet service at a previous apartment... during a span of time where I did not live there. It's not their fault they got a false debt to collect, but nobody I've talked to from any involved party seems able or willing to cancel the debt and I cannot get this number to stop calling. They will have to take me to court if they want their $150 that badly, but I can't see how they could win that claim as I have proof I did not live at the address I was billed for.
