My experience was similar to gary thompson, except the number called first my mobile phone and then my home phone about 10 minutes apart. In both cases, after I answered, there was no response at all.
I had a voicemail from this number with the message "Hi, this is Tyler with the gift recovery department, trying to reach you in regards to the $25,000 giveaway that we're wrapping up and we'd sponsored some time back in the last 18 months. We're looking at your name, we have very good news for you, we do need you to give us a call as soon as possible here at toll free 844-539-9192. We do need to hear from you as soon as possible and congratulations."
The recorded message I got stated that the guy's name was "Dallas", yeah right. But the message was the same as all above. They are related to the toll free numbers 844-539-9194 and 844-539-9196. All the same scammers. Don't tell them anything if you talk to them. I'm sure that there is a "fee" to release your free prize and if you think you won $25K, your a moron!
