these f*ckheads said they were calling from my city, and they were not selling anything, but the caller ID clearly stated they were calling from somewhere else. Not sure but I think it's a Timeshare type thing. "Free Seminar" yeah right. I will sue the crap out of them for TCPA violations if I find out who they really are, just like those [***] from Political Opinions of America.
Scammer. Tried to tell me about a new southwest service and invite me to a free event where I would receive 2 round trip tickets. The woman started asking questions and when I replied that I wouldn't answer any questions without a written statement to my account, she hung up.
Caller ID said it was from San Francisco/North Bay Area (gee, didn't know they had a phone). I declined to answer. A 19 second message was left, sounded like a young woman speaking a foreign language that I couldn't identify, perhaps Asian.
I got the SAME EXACT call and the same thing, they started asking me if i lived in so and so and i said "no i don't know how you got my number and i don't know who you are i'm not giving out any information until i do don't call my number again" and then i hung up because they sounded indian and clearly was a scam
I just got the same thing - they say they are from Southwest Airlines, opening a new Reservation Center in Las Vegas next to the Bellagio - and giving away free tickets, but then they say they are going to show a presentation and they mention we can book the trip with Delta or another airline ! Doesn't make sense. Caller ID said 'Unknown' and accents sounded foreign - Indian maybe, not sure.
