I keep a record of my nuisance and scam calls - I easily get 5 per day. This number was used last April (2014) and was a collection agency scam (I do not owe anyone any money). Sounds like from the previous post, they are also using a phony number on the caller ID. Too bad phone company(s) cannot control fake caller IDs. I thought never answering would make them eventually stop, but the telemarketers are probably using computer generated systems, and the random idiots (or those with purchased phone number lists) just keep calling, hoping someone will eventually answer.
