Got a call just now. From an "Alex Matthews". No mention of law firm. Closing remarks: "If you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either then the only thing I can wish you good-luck...."
Got a call and that said they were an attorney and looking for information and that they were going to file a law suit as of a cetain time. Only gave an abreviation for a Name and gave this number . Could not understand a work they were saying....Also said they were located in Florida and there is no such number in that area.. Who are these people doing this????
It's a debt collection scam. They are located in India and they claim they will take you to court to collect a debt from a payday loan then they tell you that you can pay them over the phone and just take care of it so you don't have to go to court. It's a scam to get money. Tell them you have reported them to the athorities and they won't bother you again.
