Started getting calls from here after putting in my info into lendingtree site to find a lender to refinance my car. They call at least 3 times a day but never leave a msg.
Lexington Law is legit. The negative is they get their referrals from 3rd party web vendors thus your contact info is pimped like two bit [***]. Once you contact them directly they will call back to followup on your interest for several weeks.
Remember the web business is a numbers game! Its replace door to door, mailing, and newspaper ads as a means of advertising. The more they can spam, phish or mass telemarket, the more likely they'll hook the biz fish.
I've worked in telemarketing in the past (a dirty job with lousy esteem) when I needed some extra $$. Solicitors are instructed nor to leave a message. The DNC List is circumvented once you give your info for the purpose of getting information or requesting information. The good thing is CALLER ID and websites like this to share mitigating circumstances we all encounter. There are tons of legit operations but megatons of scammers that tarnish the legitimate businesses, especially when it comes to finance and credit situations. Again, that's the beauty of utilizing websites and blogging as is this forum.
My suggestion folks, get a free webphone # that won't go to you directly but will alert you via text or email only if a message is left. Use that number as a contact #. It will relieve the burden of the annoying telemarketing, collection and scam phone calls. Otherwise, use the reject feature on your cellphones, home phones, etc. etc. Unless you're lonely and need to talk with people perpetrating with business opportunity! LOL!!!
