Very slick, real-souding recording call from the United Breast Cancer Foundation. It sounded like someone's mother, and she said with a chuckle, "Gee, it's harder to reach you than to get my kids to clean up their room." This is a "real" charity but evidently has been rated one of the worst in the U.S. for misusing funds. DO NOT BE FOOLED!
The call came in at 8:35pm while we were relaxing and watching television. NO, we are NOT going to answer *any* sort of call that is not family at this time of the evening. May or may not have been a legitimate Charitable call; we do not donate to ANYONE over the phone.
Called at 8:18am. Caller ID showed United Breast C". Yesterday there was called from 415-802-2992, caller ID BC FA Office, which I blocked after reading here. If you get called from this number and want to block it, you may want to block the other number as well.
