Left a message; claimed to be a representative from IRS threatening legal action if I did not call back immediately. The actual IRS would not threaten legal action over the phone; this is an attempted scam.
I received a call from this number - in english with heavy foreign accent saying they were from IRS demanding my name - at 5:45 in the morning. IRS would not call at such an early hour nor would they need my name nor would they call on a cell phone. They hung up on me as soon as I said the IRS would never call at this strange hour.
just got a message from this number, a robot-like female voice saying that the IRS will take legal action if I don't return their call. sounds like a scam especially since I searched this number online and it does not link it the IRS website.
Took a report today where the MO wais the IRS asking for victim or their attorney to call this number asap. This is a scam. Please do not return their phone call and block if able to.
