Just blocked this number. They've called twice saying that my loan application was approved for $8,000 - I have not applied for a loan. I'll be checking my credit report to see if they've made an inquiry, I don't need this right now as I'll be applying for a mortgage soon. I suggest checking your credit report if you've received a call from this number to see if they've made an inquiry, if they have you can get it removed.
They call and tell me I've been approved for a loan. I tell them i never applied for a loan and they just say OK and hang up.
If this was a real loan company they will start the conversation off with this is (person name) from (company name) and go on speaking in a profession manner. Then after telling them their mistake they would try to see where the mistake was made fix it and apologize for the mistake. and also
Just got a call about a loan approval. I said I did not apply and he went on anyway. I told him I was calling him back every hour and he said so what! Report the number and block it. I said he was sick trying to scam senor citIzens, he said it was his job.
I keep receiving calls from this #, so I finally sat and listen to what they had to say... I know it's scam but just decided to play along. .. He told me I needed to have $110, go to Walgreens with my bank info and then call back. ... lol.... I've never had to go through this for a loan.... it's rough out for everyone but stealing people money is not the way to go! !!!!
I've been receiving phone calls from this number, but I guess my voice is intimidating, because after a few seconds of saying "hello" they hang up on me.
