Woman said she was calling for the IRS and said her name that she was a SHERIFF and if I did not return the call they were going to take action against me!! National scam from national scum!!! BLOCKED!!!
got same call. Figured it was a scam since I've never heard of "sheriffs" working for the government. Plus I you have to figure if the irs was really after you documentation would legally have to be provided
The caller represents that they are an attorney--a violation of state law; and, has been appointed to be my attorney of record before the IRS...a violation of federal law. Why does our Government know about these scams and seem to turn a blind eye...?
