Got this message a couple of times:
"The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My name officer Julie Smith from Internal Revenue Service and the hotline to my division is 4152517134. I repeat it's 4152517134. Don't disregard this message and do return the call before we take any action against you. Goodbye and take care."
we messed with them a bit my wife tried to [***]/mess with his brain ,,,but it seemed like he was stallling for time...then it dawned on me could they be going thought my home network...thought the phone lines ....uplugged everyting for 5 min
I recieved the same message as you. I had 3 messages an hour apart this morning. I called back and got a man who sounded like he was from India. When he answered he said hello. Nothing else just hello. Didn't identify himself as an IRS agent. I said what do you want? He said what number are you calling me from? Then he said we didn't call you. I said yes you did. 3 times this morning. Then he hung up on me. And I agree, I doubt the IRS is going to end the call with, TAKE CARE
These people only have one number. The same person (John smith) always answers the phone. All the noise in the background must be an audio play behind them. There is one other girl as well that he transfers you to if you fall for it. They keep using dif names. Block your number and call them a few times to mess with them. The more people keep doing that we are disrupting their scam. And one less person could fall for it. They have already been reported to the police and IRS.
