He said his name is John Jay and that he worked for Better Home Construction. I looked it up on yelp and found Better HomeS Constuction and THAT is a legit business. John Jay was fired from that company according to the owner Bruce. I tried to call back to cancel the appointment and it's a Magic Jack number with a full mail box so you can't even leave a message. We'll see if anyone shows up for the appointment. If so I will try to get a business card and more info so Bruce can stop the nonsense this guy is pulling!!
Called this am. Answered because I thought it may be from one of my daughter's doctors. No one on the other end. Called number back and was informed that the Magic Jack customer was unavailable.
Got a phone call from someone claiming to be BH Construction, Caller said his name is Edward Brown, and offered to have free home inspection and estimate. Also offered to take 90% off material, and they do anything imaginable. I went online to search for this company, but did not find anything like that within the 415 area code. When I called back to this number, it was a magic jack customer number.
The guy called and I told him he had woken me up (at 4:00 p.m.). He said: Are you a drunk? Why are you sleeping during the day? I said who the h--- is this and he hung up. I used my call reject number and when I called it back, I got a recorded response that it was from some outfit called Magic Jack. Remind me not to do business with this outfit. The call originated in Novato, Marin County
