I got a call from 415-251-8080 saying that there was a problem with my taxes and that I should call this number and talk to Michael Carter, case number 8985021.
Just finished 3 calls with these people after playing message 2times. Was threaten with an arrest and lean against property, which I don't have, bank account, drivers license. Said they had sent 2 certified letters and that a door hanger note was left. My post office don't leave door hanger notes, they leave a completed form in mail box. thought scam but wanted to be sure. Not letting this rest called REAL IRS and made a report. Should file claim against them for the headache
My elderly mother just called all upset that the IRS called her twice today about taxes owed. Couldn't understand the guy because of his accent. Left the name of Michael Carter and this number. Will file complaint with Irs
Heavily accented man called saying he was from Tax Litigation Department and we need to call them back immediately and to reference case #900248. He named my husband by first and last name. Very concerning considering we just filed last night...
