Got a message from this number yesterday, an automated message claiming to be IRS and that I need to not disregard this message. I knew from the sound of the message that it was a scam but I called back anyway. A man with a heavy accent answered the phone. He asked my name and I said you tell me since you called. He (incorrectly) said my name and then my # and began to say something unintelligible and that I owed a large sum of money to the IRS and then some more unintelligible speak. So I said excuse me I don't understand you and he kept on about owing money blah blah blah, so I stopped him and told him I know you are trying to scam me because the IRS would send a written letter to me first before they would call and I never received a letter. He then (which I clearly understood) asks if he could F**k me in the A**. I then called him a choice name and hung up. I then reported the call to the government website for scammers posing as the IRS. Caller ID said California.

Basically received the same call today. I asked if my attorney could call them back and the Indian accent man on the phone told me it was too late for that and if I don't pay the $5000.00 in back taxes I owe, they would seize my accounts and property and a warrant for my arrest would result in 2 hours. I was told I would go to prison for 2 years. I told him 3 meals a day and a cot sounded like a good deal to me and he hung up!
