Caller ID showed call from California.
Strong Idnian accent. Could not understand his name.
Got my first name wrong.
I muted the TV , answered the phone and didn't say one word or make a noise.
He was quite threatening and rude even though all he got on this end was silence.
He called back several minutes later. Same man. Same scam.
I picked up the phone and said nothing. Then he asked if my name was ---------- I said " NO ". Again more threats. And again NO COMMENTS whatsoever by me.
I did recently find that someone had stolen my identity last January. Since then lots of these calls.
Numerous questions and threats followed though I said nothing.
I have just ordered a freon boat air horn from Amazon. Used to work VERY WELL years ago on local telemarketers that wouldn't take no for an answer.
Can't wait for the next call.
"IRS agent Kenneth Webster" Sounded like very young man with a strong Indian accent trying to get my details. I spoke to him, he told me to call back at 415-251-9096. I called back it was a "Magic Phone" number to investigate the fraud, no answer just another scam artist....
Fake IRS agent, "Daniel Martin." BARELY able to speak English. Do not respond, tell them you know this is a scam and hang up. They will try and tell you that you must give them money immediately. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. Hang up and if you can, block the number.

Called me and asked for my mother which her jumber is totally different from mine, and claiming they're the IRS but last that I remember they work Monday to Friday not early Saturday morning. On top of that, she sound like a robot like Alpha from The Power Rangers
