Got a call stating that I was approved for a loan up to $11,000.00. I asked how much I had to pay for a loan of $2,000.00 and was told I could pick out the monthly payment amount. I was supposed to go to Walmart and pay Western Union $139.99 in order to get this loan. I told the caller that if I had the money to pay for this loan I wouldn't need a loan and told them it was nothing but a scam and I was going to report this to the FBI and then hung up; could hardly understand his "dialect" - very foreign
I think these guys are Indian. They tell you that you are approved for a loan of up to $11000.if you say you want the loan they ask for a $300 for a ESP transfer number. I told them that if I had $300 I would not need a loan. So he got upset and said that the fee was refundable. They will make two deposits one for the $300 and one for the loan amount. I told him I didn't want the loan and he said I would withdraw $200 out of my account.this person had all of my information. They are claiming that they are from Lending Club
