Well you could try blocking services available from your phone company. Also services like Phone Tray Free and Google Voice can help. On cell phones, if you can't block phone numbers you may be able to assign them a silent ring so they won't disturb you.
Any calls from numbers without any name I have fun with. In my best broken Chinese voice I ask them if they want to order Chinese food. Or answer like they have reached California State Prison and I am Officer Ayala. Or a Catholic priest and ask them to pray with me. Or I will say, "you have reached a number that is no longer in service, Operator 21". With the mortgage company I tell them I am interested, but that I have paid off my house loan already. I ask if I can refinance a non existing loan. Any of these work and it is fun.
I wait for the 4th. ring before answering. Then if they don't reply in the first half second, I hang up. There is seldom an answer unless it is a legitimate call.
I received a call from this number and I don't know who it was. I also tried calling back and got that the phone number was no longer working. How do you stop this?
