This is actually a call from GLF Marketing. They identify themselves as Google Law Firms. They target Law Firms promising a good placement in Google and try to schedule demonstrations. Up until I actually spoke to a live person, our office had received a call from them nearly every day for months. The calls always came about the same time and always hung up when someone answered. Very annoying.
Received a call a few minutes ago. They identified themselves as Google Law Firm. They wanted to schedule a free demonstration that would help place our law firm at the top of Google Searches. I had a few minutes to kill, so I let them talk a little bit. I then told them we were not interested. They came back with a response about us not interested in boosting our advertising and getting new clients. We went back and forth about 3 more times and I finally said "Ok, now you're wasting my time. I've told you several times we're not interested. Goodbye!" and I hung up the phone on them. When I can, I try answering these calls then research the number. I then give the secretaries a heads up so they know to look out for that number on Caller ID and know it's not a client/potential client call.
