Claimed to be a navy veteran wanting to do home contracting work. Called in violation of the do not call list and I asked to be removed. Sounded like a scam
Some jerk (who addressed me by my full name, of which I didn't acknowledge) claimed that he's a "disabled" veteran whose construction company is remodeling homes in my neighborhood, and one of his men could come out and perform a free inspection of my home. When I asked the name of his construction company he replied, "Mam, you have a nice evening." And then hung up on me.
Springshot caller ID. Filed a police report as they said they had my name, street address, were on my street doing work for another customer, and would be right over. Police are forwarded the info to the FBI as it involves FCC fraud.
