I keep getting calls from these idiots, as well as from about 4-5 other numbers. Why I didn't think of it sooner is beyond me, but on my phone (Android), if I select a phone number from my phone log and then select the "three dot button / options" button in the upper right I can add that number to my "auto reject list" so the call doesn't come through. I'd imagine all brands of phones have this functionality.
I am NOT impressed. This is the fourth call I've had from an ignorant prick. They ask me for my name. I know who it is calling. I asked who the company was. He said it was about my business (which is no longer in use) advertised on Google. Before I could even finish my sentence he said, "Ok you don't want your business on Google?" Click.
I have a hard time believing this is a legit call. If I get one more call from this number, I'm reporting it to the government. Stop [***] calling me!
Received the same "Google Listing" call at work. Pressed "1" and waited. When asked for my name, I suggested that they may want to scrub the auto dial list. And mentioned that calling FEDERAL facilities, especially with an Illegal auto-dialer, may not be a wise thing to do.
They won't stop calling after telling them numerous times to stop (we are on the do not call list) and pressing 9 for their "do not call again" list. Getting very annoying!
Claimed to be from Google, then said not affiliated with Google when I asked for address to Google, she told me to Google Google, I told her to Google herself
