Got a call from this number, didn't answer, then they called again. I answered the second time. My name is Scott and a guy with a thick accent asked for Scott Steve. I told him wrong number and that was that. When I got to an untraceable phone I called the number back and a recording said this is not a working number. I work for a telemarketing company and asked around about this, the computer expert told me it was a predictive dialer, they send out thousands of automated calls and if someone picks up they are connected to their call center. You can set the return number as anything you want, so if anyone calls back they get that recording. It's someone trying to sell something calling targeted leads, but they must've gotten my number by mistake, either that or they're calling random numbers. But it's strange that he asked for Scott and my first name is Scott...
for the first 15 seconds on said anything, as i was about to hang up a woman came on (call center) asking for someone that does not work here and she spoke bad english. i hung up.
Got a call from this number yesterday and when I answered, a lady with an American accent spoke. She had my full name and asked if I worked in a general insurance company. I said I didn't and she apologised for the mistake and hung up. The strange thing is that she had my fullname.
They asked for my 1st name but different last name;;; i said you might have the right number.. and they still said oh sorry dialed wrong and hu... my first name is very unique and thought that was strange... must be harvesting leads... yeay
