I applied for a payday loan and somehow this number got my info. They seem to be forgeign and want to give me an auto loan. I tell them repeatedly I dont want an auto loan and they just cant seem to get it through their heads! Sick of them!!
I too "applied" for a payday loan, but I gave bogus information except for my cell # and work #. Within 1 minute of hitting the submit button my cell phone and my work phone rang - it was the exact same #. I didn't answer. Mine was simply a "test" to see who would call. I am not a big cell phone user and will only answer my phone when it is someone I know. I have my phone on vibrate. My work # is a direct line with caller id. I don't have to answer my phone and can let these go into voice mail. Within a 24 hour period I have rec'd 33 calls from various #'s. I never give my home #. I have been called about auto loans, college degrees, debt mgmt, loans, health insurance. I never answered yes to any question asking if I wanted information on these types of services. It is a joke. I knew what I was getting myself into, but I have proven that these calls are motivated by an online application that has been filled out.
I have had 3 calls from this number already and its only 8:30am. Its a foreign guy calling about a "supposed" application for a loan, I called the number back and told him "I didn't apply for a loan", and he then started to ask me what i was doing, so I hung up. I then got a call from a 804-125-3956 number. It was again a foreign man and he said I had applied for a payday loan, I told him I hadn't applied for any such thing and he hung up.
This number called my office today. I am the receptionist. I know there is a girl here who is in some trouble with payday loans so that's probably how they got the number. I would laugh if they told me they don't have any principles, or that they love me LOL! As it is, they just hang up when I answer with our business greeting.
