I don't usually answer phone calls with numbers I don't recognize. I usually let it go through to voice mail to see if they leave a message. This number did leave one of those automated message about health insurance. Said that I had inquired about Obamacare. I haven't inquired about insurance for over a year. When I googled the number it comes to a fax machine for some hedge fund company called True Bearing. Scam, once again.
They called me yesterday and today in the morning. It looks like somebody is checking if my number is active because they disconnect after 2- rings before I mange to answer. Not leave any message to my voice mail.
I do not like this.
It's one of those "smart" robots (with a real person on the other end, likely in India, and a switch board for responses) from the so called "health insurance enrollment center", which btw is not affiliated with the actual health insurance marketplace (healthcare.gov).
They won't stop calling me. They call me three times a day. I tell them over and over to take me off the call list, but they continue to call. For a while my call blocker would stop the calls, but today they changed to a different phone number (still 415 area code)
