they're cold-calling business owners soliciting small business loans as cash advances (which is illegal in most states as its considered loansharking). they use high pressure phone sales, aggressive (illegal) sales tactics, and wont stop calling me... i keep blocking each number, and reporting them as new calls come in.
PEOPLE - NEVER GIVE CHECK/BANK INFO OUT OVER THE PHONE! NOBODY IS GIVING YOU MONEY, SO DONT FALL FOR SCAMS LIKE THESE
Oriental lady called asking for "Michael". Told her there was no one by that name but she didn't understand me and jumbled tried to tell me the name of their company. She asked if we needed business loans and I said no. She then asked if we were looking to expand and needing them in the future and I said no. She asked when she could try calling back and I said "not sure". She then replied with "Thank you for wasting my time" and hung up. Oh the irony.
The person above with Verizon . You pay 2.99 ? I just block on my iPhone with Verizon at no extra charge .
Anyways, this number called my landline and is now blocked .
This number called our business today at 0943 hours. Caller ID said "San Francisc CA" so I knew it was a b.s. call. So I picked up the receiver but said nothing. This usually frustrates auto-dial systems that wait for a voice before either triggering an idiot-message or transferring the call to the next available scam artist. Sure enough, the call disconnected itself after a couple of moments.
