Yes. Also got a fax from a Debbie Wiliams placing a catering order and asking for $1800 to be Western Unioned to a Brandi Starr in Alabama. I played along until she called using deaf relay calling. She wouldn't give me any info just kept repeating the orders and asking that add on $2000 to my invoice and use those $2000 to Western Union the money to Starr. Definetly a scam.
Just got one for 300 sandwiches and sides. To be picked up.They give themselves away with their terrible use of the language, and the obviously obtuse way in which they order: They de-emphasize the product they want, and get specific about modes of payment. It's actually quite funny at times.
Just got the same fax. Same order for 300 sandwiches with no information other than date of party. New it was a scam, since a similar situation occured at previous job. Unfortunately there are people out there that will fall for it, and these people will never be caught or prosecuted.
Yes...we received a fax wanting the same 300 sandwiches and sides. After asking for more info...Debbie said she was "getting tired of all the questions". That's when I did a search and found this info.
