Same story here... they called me at 6:37am. Nobody there when I picked up. When I called back later, got a robot that offered to have them take me off their list. Of course, that's NOT how a Federal or state do-not-call list is supposed to work! We're not supposed to have to opt-out individually for each robot telemarketer.
These companies need to go to JAIL, and socked with huge financial fines for this BS!! Whatever they're selling, who the hell do they think is going to be receptive to their pitch at 6:30 in the morning!!??
Called here in Eureka, CA at 5:34 am and left no message. There has been a rash of one ring wonders lately to our number. I guess they don't want to sell anything if we can't get to the phone in time to answer. Probably checking to see if a person answers the phone to try more scams with another number.
Today starting at 7:06 AM and repeating every 9 minutes I got calls from several unrecognized phone numbers. The phone would ring twice and then hang up. When I called back, on each number I got the exact same message. You could never reach a live person. You could leave a message or push "2" to be put on their Do Not Call list. But the people calling never identified themselves. The numbers were:415-363-9593, 360-722-5916, 773-897-5551, 417-800-2585,206-445-6135,417-800-2575,and 302-257-5905
