A woman in broken English told me I was being sued for tax fraud and wanted my attorneys information. When I told her it was highly suspicious for the IRS to call people on the phone on a Saturday and I won't recognize anything unless it is in writing on a U.S. Government letterhead she got very upset with me. She yelled at me that Federal Agents were going to come to my house with an arrest warrant and hung up the phone on me. I reported it to my local police and they said "we get this same report everyday, just block the number." I did. What a poorly thought up scam... So obvious it is not the IRS. It's Saturday!
Called on a Saturday. Very hard to understand voicemail--a woman speaking very slowly. IRS, "time sensitive," "we're going to take action against you!" Scam.
