The wonderful people in "Tiburon" advised me that I had won an all expense cruise to the Bahamas. All I needed to do was take part in a survey on solar. I live in a/c 415. My wife has some health issues and I answered thinking it may be a call confirming an appointment. Very tempted to block the area code but then I would have to move. Obviously a spoofed number. Only honest crooks can afford a Tiburon address.
Received a call from this number and it wasn't known to me, but the area code was mine, so I answered and didn't say anything (in case it was a machine waiting for me to say hello). Silence for 10 seconds and then they hung up. I think it was a machine.
Most scam calls I get are from way out of state--this one is just across the lovely Golden Gate Bridge in one of the most affluent little enclaves, around. Belvedere, CA . . . they must be hurting. I might just figure out where this is and take a drive over there :)
sounds like they are targeting local 415 #'s
they called me when I was working, something about looking for a job, i believe, it was noisy at my work so not 100%.
