A gentleman asked for one of our IT Directors. When I asked what the call was in regards to he said he "wasn't at liberty to say", and that he worked for someone and once he had the IT Director on the line that he was to transfer the call. I told him that I cannot transfer calls to Directors and above without knowing what the call was about and what company he works for. He proceeded to say his didn't know what the call was about and I said then his boss could call in and ask for our IT Director because I wasn't transferring the call. I promptly hung up.
