First of all, the number comes up as 'unavailable'. Then a representative by the name of 'John' leaves me a message how I need to call him back immediatly to resolve a 'legal matter'. When I called him back the guy wouldn't give me the company that gave him all my personal info. He eventually told me it was Fast Cash Advance (online payday loan). I have not spoken to them since. Its obvious its a scam since they are using to many scare tactics.

i got an from call and there are asking me to call them back at this number and 415-366-9605 and they are asking for my attory to call them about this matter. i have fax the information to them about the account that they said it would check into and let us know on this matter. this
I received the same "this is an important legal phone call" message on both my work and cell phone. I spoke with someone obviously outside of the country that was trying to scare me into thinking that a payday loan I had "defaulted" on 2 years ago was going to trial. He said that the company US Fast Cash (or something close to the name) was the company filing the complaint. I told him that I demanded they do not call my place or employment again or try to contact me over the phone, that this was obvioulsy as scam, and if they did I would contact the authorities. He said "thank you" and hung up. We will see if they try contacting me again.
